Okay...well the first answer was really rude!
Exercise does feel great especially when you have been restricted. I am exactly the same...I do not feel myself without exercise. I have been extremely lucky and not had to modify any of my exercises...just cut back a little. I am currently doing a dance cardio DVd 3 times per week...it's so much fun! Stretching exercises...the exercise ball is so relaxing and heps tone and keep things tight and then playing in the yard with my hubby and kids every evening. Those activities are my exercise during pregnancy! I did yoga with my second pregnancy when I was put on exercise restriction...but it just wasn't for me. I like a high energy routine that really gets my pulse up, yoga was a tad bit too boring for me, to each their own!
Congrats on the baby! :)

Walking does a good job of tighning things up. Also, squats work well too. (In fact I was able to lift 100lbs more in two weeks) Squats are cool because you can play with your baby when you do it, and the added little bit of weight that she/he brings will make the workout that much better for you...and to them it's just a fun ride!
Also for your butt, get on all fours, and kick one of your legs out and contract your muscles.
I hate to say it though, unless you already eat really well it won't matter how much working out you do, if you already have fat there it's not going anywhere until you cut back.
Your body burns fat if you are within your THR (target heart rate) any lower or higher and it won't work, in fact if you go higher your body begins to burn muscle because it burns faster than fat.

Oh boy can I relate. Pilate's does firm your stomach, but if you have a lot of skin because of your pregnancies or due to yo-yo dieting, you can only firm up so much. I am trying to lose 40 too. I wish you luck my friend, it is so hard.

Divide your body weight in half. Drink that many ounces of water per day. The rest of the time eat raw (washed) brocolli. You can have lean chicken or fish at dinner. You can have a glass or two of wine at dinner. No caffeine the entire week. You will lose about 10 pounds. My daughter was traveling with my husband for a week and I was so motivated by the weight loss I saw that I could not help but continue trying to keep this up off and on until I reached my ideal weight. I still have broccoli as much as possible for breakfast and lunch. I go back to what I heard Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers say once, "You don't have to LIKE it, you just have to EAT it." Also, I realized I was doing alot of anxiety eating. The vitamin 5-HTP (8.00 for a one month supply at Walmart) was SO helpful with the self control in doing this. If you are the kind of person that doesn't go to the bathroom when your body tells you to, doesn't eat when you're body tells you to, you may be anxiety eating or starvation eating and this is not going to work. That is, also, another reason to stay away from caffeine. It may give you a boost, and coffee has many antioxidant properties, but, anxiety is the reason alot of people eat unnecessarily. I've seen people get so skinny on Pilates, too, so either way. However, I prefer to eat my way thin with healthy foods before working out:) Good Luck!

Turn on your best CD, MTV, DVD, etc. and just dance. Dance like you just don't care. Hold your baby and dance. Bubs like it. Take your baby and lift her in the air for your arms, throw your legs out from side to side. Kick your knees up, spin around, wave your arms in the air. Just have fun.
I do this, its fun. I have 3 kids, 2 dogs and a full-time jobb. I can do this while I'm cooking, after dinner or late at night. I sometimes get the kids to join me, reluctantly sometimes they join in. Don't worry about energy, it is a state of mind. You are tired from your day, you just need a stimulus to get you going again. Loose yourself in music no matter how silly you think you look, just do it, and sing too! Relax your mind and let your body be free.

Hello Porsche, I hope this helps you out. I use them or have used them in past. Go to FitnessMagazine.com you will see workout videos, meal plans, recipes and they will email you with daily workouts or tips on how to lose 5, 10 lbs in x amount of time. They also do beauty, health, and a few other things, I think you will enjoy it or at the very least find some ideas.
Next go to youtube and look up 2Dymplz. You will be amazed by her story and you will see it all in her videos. She has workout videos, she is now studying to be a personal trainer. A few months back she was having some weight issue, and went on youtube for ideas, started with one or another group doing challenges and went from there but you can see for your self. On occasion I workout with her.
