Yes. My doctor recommended that I start taking prenatal vitamins when we decided to try for a baby. He also suggested that my husband take a daily multi vitamin. Best of luck and I hope you have a successful pregnancy.
Honestly do what you want. They can’t hurt you and when I was pregnant with both of my children I never took prenatal vitamins. They always made me sick the first time so I stopped and the second time I didn’t bother. I just made sure to eat right and eat all the time and I was good. If you are this into it though set up an appointment with an OBGYN and he or she will be able to better assist you on this.
Most Dr’s recommend taking prenatal vitamins before during and after pregnancy. It’s all essential vitamins anyways, it isn’t going to do you any harm and will make you body more ready to conceive.
I’m not sure, but I don’t think you want to overdo the vitamins. Just take a woman’s once-a-day pill until you’re pregnant. You can then start the prenatals, and if you breast feed, you can continue the prenatals.
Yes, a daily multivitamin is recommended for health and if you are getting ready to start conceiving feel free to replace the multivitamin with a prenatal vitamin. It is totally safe.
Not only is it safe to take prenatal vitamins before pregnancy it is recommended to do so – the folic acid in the vitamin will help prevent spina bifida and cleft palates.
You definately should start taking prenatal vitamins and it is safe and recommended. You should also schedule an appointment with our OBGYN. Good Luck!!!
yess it is totally safe!!!
but its always good to speak to a doctor he can actually prescribe you all the vitamin you really need.
My Dr recommended taking a folic acid supplement for at least 3 months prior to conceiving.
Take Geritol
yes, you need folic acid before conception. It is too late to help by the time you know you are expecting.
