Weird Messed Up Periods : ( Worried?

by Pregancy WorkOut DVD

Ok im 17 years old
I started my period for the first time when I was 11
I usually have heavy periods that last 5,6,or 7 days but..
Last month I started 5 days early and i think it lasted 4 or 5 days
This month I started 7 days early and it only last 3 days brownish / light pink the first day ( it just seems like I hardly bleed ) and thats weired because before I was really heavy and my period lasted pretty long,
- Ive gained weight because for a while I was eating alot and not exercising at all
-june 17th I walked 5 miles and im not used to doing much at all , then on the 18th i started my period and i wasnt supposed to until aroud the 25th , so i started 7 days early this month & it only lasted until the 21rst (which is three days)
-a couple months back I got an infection , i was stupid and waited until 2 months later to go to the doctor because I was hoping it would go away and it didnt , when i went to the doctor he said that i had a bladder infection and he gave me antibiotics i took them , and i didnt think that they were going to work but it went away three days after i took the last pill, then three days after that It came back , and has been there ever since , I am going to go back to the doctor again for it ,maybe i didn take enough antibiotics to get rid of it because I had it so long , but ever since i got that infection for the first time Ive been having messed up periods like this ,do you think that this has any relevance to the bladder infection that I have. I research alot and scare myself, im very paranoid and when i get something set it my head then I start to believe it < ive gave and recieved oral sex , and manual sex (ive got fingered ) but since ive been so scared i stopped doing everything . But im still scared of pregnancy , you dont think there is any chance of pregancy do you? Im really freaking out

It’s not unusual for your periods to get a little screwy every now and then. Exercise and diet play a large role in your monthly cycle, as well as stress. If you are highly concerned about your period, that in itself can alter the process of ovulation, changing when you have your period and how heavy it is. This is particurly common for teenagers and I would not be concerned about it. Now, if you’re having intercourse, there’s always a chance you could be pregnant and, if you are pregnant, you could still have light bleeding that appears like a period. If you have had vaginal sex, buy a urine pregnancy test at the drug store or grocery store and find out so you can stop stressing over it.
It’s unlikely that your bladder infection is related to your recent menstruation changes, but you are wise to follow up with your doctor if you think your infection hasn’t cleared. There might be something else going on or you might just be fighting a more resistant strain of bacteria. Until then, don’t panic and abstain from sexual activity. Good luck!
