Just Had A Baby 2 Months Ago I Want To Know A Good Healthy Excerise Routine?

by Pregancy WorkOut DVD

okay so its been 2 months since i gave birth to my son. I had a csection so it took me longer to heal and I also gained 50 pounds during my pregnancy and I had an 8 pounder! I’ve lost 20 pounds so far from the baby and fluids and now I have 30 more to lose. I don’t expect to lose it all before another 9 months or so but I want to make sure I am doing everything right so I don’t risk my health. I was scared to do anything before 6 weeks so for 2 weeks now I have been doing some pilates/yoga and walking/running/tennis. It has all been really hard because of the excess weight, add to that I am really out of shape and I didn’t do much exercise while pregnant except walking.
I once weighed 107 and wore a size 1-3 in jeans and now I am 137 and I am only 4’11 and still can’t fit into a size 4. I know I shouldn’t be so worried about my weight and focused on my son but being so petite the weight shows really bad on my body. so can anyone give me a good/healthy routine that I can start now?

You can easily get back into those jeans! It’s more fun to exercise if you involve your baby. Get a running stroller and go for long walks with baby. After a few weeks, work your way up to jogging.
There are a lot of “Baby and Me” workout videos that are a lot of fun and really good for the baby. You use the baby like a resistance weight. He’ll love it! There’s baby and me yoga, that’s fun! Baby and me pilates will help you tone up. Baby gets to fly through the air (while securely in your arms, of course). Lots of healthy interaction with baby and mommy gets to feel the burn!
