Were You Excited To Start Working Out After Your Pregnancy.?

by Pregancy WorkOut DVD

I am 6 1/2 months pregnant with my 2nd. when i got pregnant with my 1st i remember that i told myself that i was going to be healthy and be more active WRONG!!! i started at 136lbs gained around 45lbs during pregnancy and lost 15 lbs a week after birth. 2 months after i was down to 156lbs and when i found out i was pregnant again i was at 140lbs. With this pregnancy i didnt gain weight till my 5th month. at my 6th month check up i had gained a total of 9lbs. i bought me some prenatal pilates and workout videos which i do once in a while plus walking and taking care of my 17 month old. i am now 26 weeks and i feel huge and fat although i am not really stressing it. I cant wait to have this baby and just get to exercising again and taking good care of myself. i have been pretty good about what i eat with this pregnancy. I just think its funny how i get really excited about getting back in shape after the baby is born during pregnancy but when i have the baby i loose that motivation and I could care less. I guess you just get so involved with the new baby, current children and life (work, husband, house) that you loose focus on yourself. i hope that motivation is still with me when this baby is born. Have any of you ladies felt this way? I also cant wait to get new clothes, get a nice hair style (i think i deserve it, i have havent colored my hair in 6 years just the occasional haircut here and there) i know there are ladies out there that felt this way and i just wanted to hear from you.
my husband has been running and just taking better care of himself. I very much just want to join him. I am so proud of of well he is doing. He’s lost around 20lbs in 6 weeks.
Also, do any of you ladies feel like you look better now after after having children?

Wow, we sound almost identical in that sense! I have a almost 16 month baby boy, and with my first pregnancy I went from 111 pounds to 162 pounds and swore I’d work out and be thin and sexy again after I had my son. I seriously lost maaaaybe 10 pounds? I am 19 weeks pregnant right now, and I’ve actually lost weight and have only put on maybe 4 pounds so far this pregnancy.
This time I’m working out and trying to eat better with this pregnancy. I definitely don’t want to gain a whopping 51 pounds again! Haha!!! I definitely will work out better once the baby is born. DEFINITELY.
Don’t worry though. You are not overweight nor fat. You are pregnant. =)

After my first I couldn’t wait to get back to my regular figure. I became way too focused on lossing the bulge and lost all excess baby weight within four weeks. While I was happy with what I’d achieved, I was judged and a stranger even muttered under her breath to her friend ‘Is she starving herself?’
I was infuriated by the judgements, but I will take things slower this time, and won’t be as harsh on myself about getting back into shape. However, My motivation is this gorgeous pair of jeans I’ve bought that haven’t a hope in hell of fitting me unless I get back to my pre-pregnancy weight.
I don’t think I look better since having children, but I’m satisfied with the way I look, I have the body of your average mother.

Well im still pregnant lol .. 31 weeks on sunday. So far I’ve gained 10 lbs. My babygirl weighs 2lbs 14oz as of 2 days ago. So 2oz shy of 3lbs. I work out for about an hr hr n ahalf up to 2 hrs 3 times a week plus walk on the other days. I listen to my body and slow it down when I feel a decrease in energy. I eat healthy. I’ve always been a health nut tho. But yea im super excided to see what I can do with my postpartum body. I’ve ordered p90x , that I will start as soon as my doc oks me working out after I give birth. I love the gym and can’t wait to get my body back, but im also hoping the pregnancy will leave me with a lil mama look. But of course in shape
