Walking, lots of fresh veggies (dark green, even better) B vitamins, and iron… those will help. Also try a really good sleeping schedule, so your body can regulate itself. I had this problem with a couple of my pregnancies, and often the main culprit was low iron. Hope this helps, and congrats on baby!..
I don’t think you can fight it. It’s a feeling almost like you’re drugged!
First, every pregnancy is different, don’t be scared it’s a normal reaction.. My experience with two, they were not the same. The lethargic feeling usually means you need to eat foods that replace the nourishment and supplements that the baby is taking.
Sometimes it could be your body telling you it needs the extra rest while in the process of making a baby.
Pre-natal vitamins and other supplements, Are very beneficial and some Ob-Gyn clinics offer special diets if you explain that the Lethargic feeling wearing you down.
I hope this helps
During my pregnancy I was sooooo tired during the first Trimester and also the last. What worked best for me was to eat a bowl of cereal. I liked the Smart Start Antioxidant, and then exercise afterwards before I would start my day. Just a walk, I usually did a few city blocks and then came back home. This seemed to give me the energy needed to start my day!
Your growing baby requires extra energy, which may make you feel tired. Sometimes, feeling tired may be a sign of anemia (low iron in the blood), which is common during pregnancy.
Recommendations:
1. Get plenty of rest; go to bed early at night and try taking naps during the day.
2. Maintain a regular schedule when possible but pace your activities; balance activity with rest when needed.
3. Exercise daily to increase your energy level.
If you think anemia may be a concern, ask your doctor to test your blood.
Eat more foods with vitamin b-12, you could also ask a pharmacist what she might recommend but preferably a doctor would be ideal
you need energy boost foods, one of them is carbs. and veggies, and grains
Just do not drink caffiene (it is hard to fight) as it will be bad for the baby as I am sure you are aware. Eat alot more vegetables, it helped me stay awake before. Oddly enough
Yoga is great but you have to know what you can do while pregnant. Find a video for pregnancy. It also help with aches and pains later in the pregnancy. It rejuvenating for me anyway! Good Luck and Congrats!
well your pregnant so you dont really need to be doin workout videos but you could start goin on short walks and take your prenatal vitamins, that might help. yeah in the beginning i was exahsted but it hopefully will get better. doesnt food with fiber make you more alert? im not sure hun, ask your doctor.
in the first trimester i would wake up, brush my teeth, shower, and then feel so freaking tired i would fall asleep again- some of the best sleep i ever had.
Just go to sleep, stop fighting it. I would sleep like 18 hours a day.
